Peter Moore is an HR leader with proven experience growing companies by developing and implementing first class employee experiences with a focus on attracting, rewarding, and retaining talent.

Working with small, rapidly growing businesses and global corporations, Peter has worked with companies from coast to coast and around the world at places such as Dollar Shave Club, Hulu, Sony, Mintel, and Saks Fifth Avenue to name a few.

Before joining Coco, Peter was Head of People for LeaseLock, and earlier Chief People Officer with Dollar Shave Club (DSC) where he was a part of the founding People Team who grew the company from 80 employees in 2 countries and 4 locations in 2015 to over 500 employees in 4 countries and 7 locations in 2020. Prior to DSC, Peter’s expertise was in Talent Acquisition and Employment Brand - rapidly moving from his early days as a headhunter then through the ranks of recruiting and into the broader people and talent management field. Given his commitment to providing world-class career experiences, Peter expanded his attention to the entire People Lifecycle with particular focus on fairness and equity for all. His work at DSC was featured in Forbes (2020) for extending parental leave to all employees regardless of tenure, parental status or delivery of a child. Peter also spearheaded a multi-million renovation of DSC’s expanded office which reunited all DSC employees under one roof - recognized as an edgy, collaborative and comfortable workspace by DesignMilk (2018).

Peter splits his time between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, CA with his partner and two french bulldogs. Peter spends his “free time” racing/road biking (USA Cycling), renovating and flipping homes, and taking long road trips and traveling around the world.

January 2020:  “Committed to Inclusion” I launched  16 weeks  Parental leave for all employees.

“We expanded our paid parental leave policy in the US to 4 months regardless of tenure at the company for all employees, meaning it includes birthing parents, non-birthing parents, and hourly workers. For DSC, equality matters, and we really wanted to approach our paid parental leave policy from an inclusion standpoint, so regardless of how you are growing your family, you have access to paid leave, and you can also know that your job is secure.”

April 2018  “Dollar Shave Club’s new HQ” I led a $5M renovation project to bring employees together.

“After quickly outgrowing their 26,000-square-foot office, Dollar Shave Club was in need of a new HQ to house all of their employees in Marina del Rey, California. They were able to acquire the space next door allowing them to create a much larger, 50,000-square-foot office that suited their needs. The new HQ brings all the employees together under one roof allowing everyone to work more efficiently and to increase creativity.”
